Stephen Schwade is a Board-Certified Adult Gerontology and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Urology Associates. He received his  Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 2014 and his Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina in 2022. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Stephen spent nearly 10 years at the bedside in an acute care setting specializing in step-down and critical care nursing. He is licensed with the South Carolina Board of Nursing and is Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). 

When he is not practicing, he enjoys spending time with his two children, Parker and Bennett, and his wife, Leslie, and their 2 golden retrievers Wrigley and Rusty. He also has a passion for live music, skiing, travel, and the outdoors, and is an active member of the Hibernian Society of Charleston.
